We are proud to offer a range of services to support our clients, including NSQA and EUCAS accreditation, choice of agents with extensive local knowledge, seven loading ramps, soft flooring, and pen selling. 

On sale days, our canteen is open to provide hot meals and light refreshments. We offer AVDATA facilities, and our truck wash is available to help keep your vehicles clean, and truck wash keys can also be purchased on-site from the NRLX main office.

NRLX & STOCKYARD SOFTWARE

The NRLX is powered by Stockyard Software.  Stockyard is a flexible, practical, easy to use, fully integrated software solution for saleyards.  Stockyard is used at the NRLX to effectively manage the entire selling system including NLIS Compliance, Booking, NVD Entry, Selling, Clerking, Weighing, Balancing, Reporting, Delivery and Reports to stakeholders.

Historic Timeline

1900

Emma Pyers was the first Lady Auctioneer in the State from Casino, NSW.

1916

Opening of Casino Saleyards on the Market Reserve in the heart of town.

 

1932

Casino Saleyards facility relocated to Hotham Street.

1982/1983

Opening of Namoona/Casino Regional Livestock Exchange at current site on Dargaville Drive.

2014

Name change from Casino Regional Livestock Exchange to Northern Rivers Livestock Exchange (NRLX), to highlight the importance of the facility to the region.

2017 - 2020

The entire holding section of the saleyard was redeveloped with a new roof, upgrades to holding pens and improved safety and environmental upgrades, as well as upgrades to technology to allow livestock tracking and online selling.

2024

Outcross Agri-Services became the new lessee for the NRLX Saleyard.
